Quality research aimed at solving global issues ranging from environment to energy is being carried out by engineers at ED Labs.
ED Labs Scribble Pad is a product that ED Labs has come out with. The device is targeted at eliminating the teachers' or presenters' inconvenience when they are presenting something in power point with a projector.
Though wireless mouse has resolved the issue of controlling the computer actions from wherever in the presentation hall, still the presenters especially teachers and lecturers are feeling handicap in not being able to express anything in free hand writing.
So ED Labs has come out with a product that takes the form of a scribble pad, the size of which is customizable from 3.5" to 14". The pad is connected to the PC over a wireless link. The user can place a sheet of paper and write anything with an ordinary ball point pen. the Scribble Pad takes the handwritten notes in the form of signals and sends the same over air to the linked PC.
A software running on the PC receives the signals from the PAD and displays the same as such. There are facilities to change the pen colour, background colour in the software. apart from that, the user can save the boards in the form of images for future reference.
Option to broadcast is also available. Broadcasting is where the students will have the wireless link provided by ED Labs, connected to the USB port of their laptop and the Scribble Pad application running on their PC. As the teacher/ presenter writes on his pad, the same will appear on the laptop of all the students. In addition, the students can add their notes alongside the presenter's writing and save it.
ED Labs Scribble Pad will be a great solution to avoid presenting handicaps and will aid the presenters reach the audience so easily with their ideas.

Irudayoviam is an integrated cardiac health monitoring system with the simplest possible electronics. We are keen on developing low cost ECG, pulse rate, blood oxygen and body temperature monitoring device for use in rural hospitals and sanitary centers.
We are in the process of developing the device with the following features:
1. ECG acquisition from human body.
2. Displaying ECG on a small LCD screen.
3. Body temperature monitor.
4. Heart rate and pulse rate display on LCD.
5. Beep sound on abnormal readings.
6. Print out of ECG on paper.
7. Recording and reviewing of ECG/SPO2 wave.

1. Thermoelectric nano wires: To device a system to tap electrical energy from waste heat.
2. Intelligent solar panel: To induce intelligence to system that drives the solar panel to harness maximum energy.
3. Wireless glove for presenters: A love that can be worn by a presenter. According to the motion of the glove, pointer motion will take place.
4. Hydro geology: This is an emerging field that demands the aid of electronic systems to study the under ground water resources. We are one of the first in India to conduct R&D in this field and come out with supporting gadgets for study of underground water.
5. Medical Electronics: Extensive research is conducted to develop cheap, reliable and ultra portable healthcare devices like ECG, NIBP and pulse oxymeters.
